What does CBD stand for and what is it? CBD stands for cannabidiol. Our products are derived directly from the hemp plant, not the marijuana plant. Unlike marijuana, CBD does not contain psychoactive THC.
Can Après Delight get you high? No. Après Delight is a CBD-only product that is derived from the hemp plant. CBD is non-intoxicating and will not get you high.Our product is a topical oil that you apply externally to the skin; you do not ingest it or smoke it. There is no psychoactive THC in our products.
Is Après Delight legal? Yes. We only use CBD with less than .3% THC that is derived from the hemp plant, which is legally allowed by the US Farm Bill. This bill removed CBD products with less than .3% of THC from the Schedule I controlled substances list. Our CBD products also comply with all applicable laws, including the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act).
Can I use a condom with Après Delight? Because Après Delight is oil-based, it will break down most condoms. It should not be used with latex condoms.You can, however, use polyurethane or nitrile condoms like Trojan Polyurethane, FC2 Polyurethane Female Condom, and Unique Polyurethane Condom.
Where do you source your hemp? 100% of the hemp in our products is grown by Certified Organic Vermont Hemp farmers.
How do you extract CBD from the hemp plant? We work with a USDA-certified organic hemp processor located in Vermont. The process is done in small batches at a precise temperature and pressure settings utilizing a method called subcritical CO2 extraction. The end result is a clean, alcohol-free, full-spectrum oil with strain-specific terpenes.
Do you test the CBD content in your products? Yes. Every batch of our products is independently purity tested so that we know it’s free of toxins and heavy metals and meets our standards of potency and functionality. We encourage you to ask manufacturers of any CBD product you use for a corresponding COA (Certificate of Analysis). We will provide your corresponding COA when we ship your perk.
Is Après Delight full-spectrum or broad-spectrum? Our products are full-spectrum, which is the least processed extraction of hemp cannabinoids in the rawest form, containing a full spectrum of compounds not limited to but including terpenes, flavonoids, chlorophyll, and enzymes (as opposed to isolate which contains only CBD). Research shows that working with the whole plant can be more beneficial than isolating individual constituents. It has a THC content of less than .3% in accordance with the Federal Farm Bill of 2018.
